why do i feel the need to hide from my parents n even my sister when they come home?

i love my fam but for some reason when my parents come home and i hear the sound of the car or the keys going into the door lock when my sister comes home even if wer not fighting or anythin, i get so anxious n i feel nervous that they`r home and will see me. btw, im not doing anything wrong or i dont think im doing anything wrong cos i dont have anything to hide! so why do i have to feel scare of my own family some times!!! its soo weird!!!
another thing i do is run and hide under the window when sales ppl or any strangers knock on the door and i slowly rise n spy on them until they leave but i dont know if this two are related.

Don't worry, I'm the same way. Do you find the feeling passes after a bit when they get inside and you've talked to them? I do this almost daily when my husband gets home from work. I'm very introverted, always have been. I lived alone for a long time and even when I had roommates I stayed in my room at lot when I was at home, reading or watching movies. Sometimes I think I'm a hermit, for real. Being married has helped me a lot because my husband breaks me out of my shell, pretty much everyday.
